More known for comic book and Star Trek convention than longevity coverage, I guess the editors and bloggers realize that there is something very sci-fi and also very exciting about life extension.
And, check out designguybrown's comment on Aubrey de Grey:
"I think that the guy that we should all put our money on to get all those 'ageing' mechanisms tamed is Aubrey de Grey. The way he makes it sound is that there are actually systems that 'time out' your longevity no matter how healthy or genetically-endowed you are. If you can beat those, you're set.
Reasonable lifestyle + Aubrey equals multi-century lifespan (and he says that the 40-year-olds of today are going to be the first that will benefit when the break-throughs become feasible)."
The hyper cosmos flits through the glittering sky, unsettles the dazzling lipids, and passes silently over the quaint hamlet.
